Richard E. Smith

For over 30 years, Richard E. Smith has dedicated his legal career to standing up for individuals whose lives have been turned upside down by catastrophic personal injuries. From spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries to severe orthopedic trauma, he’s fought relentlessly for those who can’t afford to be ignored. With a background that includes experience as a claims adjuster, claims manager, and plaintiff attorney, he brings a rare and invaluable perspective to each case. He understands how insurance companies think and operate—because he’s been on the inside—and he uses that insight to advocate fiercely for his clients with demonstrated success. His passion for this work is personal. He believes that people who’ve suffered serious injuries

who truly cares. That’s what he strives to offer every client who walks through his door. In his time away from the office, he enjoys woodworking projects like building cutting boards, charcuterie boards, end tables and coffee tables.

Sanjay Biswas

Attorney


Sanjay Biswas brings extensive trial experience to his practice and has been practicing law since 1997. Licensed in both Texas and Louisiana, he earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Admiralty Law from Tulane Law School.

Born in Yorkshire, England, Sanjay lived in New Orleans for 37 years before relocating to Texas in 2017. He is married and has two children. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys playing the ukulele and spending time with his family, three basset hounds, and dachshund.
